The first two weeks of the year started off a bit slow as I was putting in time on the blog. I was able to export 50 clips and get 11 of them keyworded in uploaded in around 4 hours total. Not a bad start to the year. 296 more hours to go to reach

I was lucky enough to be in Boston during the “Bombogenis” two weeks ago. I gathered some footage from around the city in the middle of the storm. I haven’t had time to go through it yet so don’t how many clips I might come away with. I’ve been wanting to start uploading some editorial footage to see how it performs, so at least this will be a start!

Getting 11 clips online and 50 edited is not bad, but hoping to start shooting soon. I still have an archive of several hundred scenic and landscape shots from past shoots, but don’t know if I will ever upload them as they don’t seem to sell well at all and may not be worth the time.

Almost nothing was spent in the first two weeks of the year as I was focused largely on getting this blog up and running. I bought on piece from Small Rig to try to adapt a handle for my URSA Mini Pro.

Items Purchased:

SmallRig Quick Release Nato Rail 7cm – $11

Fees and Dues

Adobe Creative Cloud – $25 ($50 / month)

While not exactly screaming out of the gate, I’m happy to have gotten some work done in the first two weeks of the year. Shooting in the middle of the biggest snow storm of the year turned out to be a blast. Maybe some of the clips will sell. It’s always a bit hard coming off of the holiday break and getting back from traveling to the full-time job, so off to a good start!
